We are delighted to present the Annual Report and Financial Accounts of the Irish Peatland Conservation Council for 2014. In this year we undertook extensive restoration of Girley Bog in Co. Meath in partnership with a variety of stakeholders, delivered an advocacy programme focusing on raised bogs and organised over 100 events around the country to celebrate bogs.
Our success is due to the support of our donors, volunteers and staff. Thank you all so very much.
IPCC’s voluntary committee of management held seven meetings during the year. Their work included regulating IPCC’s finances and operations, monitoring our Health and Safety Statement, working with the auditors on the audit and beginning an internal review of our operations to ensure that we comply with the Governance Code.
