IPCC Strengthens and Grows

At the 24th AGM of the IPCC held on the 28th April 2011, the Committee of Management approved the accounts for the twelve months ended 31 December 2010.

We are delighted to present the Report and Annual Accounts of the Irish Peatland Conservation Council for 2010. In this the International Year of Biodiversity we continued to manage our nature reserves. We ran a very successful campaign focusing on the Peatlands 2020 Action Plan and hosted a variety of education and awareness events. Our work continues to raise the profile and capacity of the IPCC.

We are grateful to all those volunteers who have pledged their support to the work of the IPCC during the year. We also wish to thank our supporters who have donated faithfully to all of our fundraising appeals during the year. Go raibh míle maith agaibh go léir.

IPCC's auditors, LHM Casey McGrath, have given an unqualified audit report on the full statutory accounts. Copies of the full accounts have been lodged with the Companies Office for filing and can be obtained from The Chief Executive, IPCC, Lullymore, Rathangan, Co. Kildare. We would appreciate a donation of an A4-sized SAE Euro12 to cover copying and P&P.
