This section includes general educational materials that can be used in preparation for the bog field trip such as plant and animal identifcation dials, information booklets about bog plants, animals and birds, a questionnarie to test student's knowledge of bogs and a series of suggested study programmes for primary and post primary students. It also contains activities that can be undertaken with all groups visiting a bog such as making models of bog formation and evaluating the conservation importance of a bog. The tips for teachers section is filled with useful information to help you plan your bog visit. We welcome questions which we can answer in our questions and answers section.
