IPCC Bogland Reserve: Fenor Bog Nature Reserve, Co. Waterford

 

The central section of Fenor Bog, Co Waterford, Ireland showing areas of wet greater tussock sedge vegetation in the foreground. Occasional seed heads of bulrush can also be seen in the foreground. This area is extremely wet underfoot and contains a variety of flowering plants including purple loosestrife, bog St Johns wort, angelica, cuckoo flower, devils bit scabious and bog cotton.
