Frog Beanie

You will need:
A needle and green thread
A sheet of dark green felt
A sheet of light green felt
Two buttons for eyes or you can buy goggle eyes
Poly granules or wadding for stuffing

What to do:
1 Enlarge the pattern below on a photocopier by 200%.
2 Mark and cut out the pieces shown on the pattern. (Mark the position of the eyes).
3 Sew the top body piece to the two sides of the body, matching the eyebrows and joining to a point at the nose.
4 Now sew the top of the body to the underbody, carefully matching head, legs and feet. Leave an opening at the back for stuffing.
5 Turn inside out to give the frog a smooth outline. Use the blunt end of a pencil to turn out the legs.
6 Sew the two buttons on to make the eyes or insert and secure the goggle eyes.
7 Mark the toe line from the pattern onto feet with a soft pencil and sew.
8 Stuff frog with poly granules or wadding, starting with the feet and working the stuffing carefully into the toes, legs, then head, eyebrows and finally body. Sew up the opening to finish the frog.
