Launch of the Bog of Allen Nature Centre

You're invited as a friend of the bog to celebrate the official opening of
the Bog of Allen Nature Centre in Co. Kildare and the hand-over of 32ha of
raised bog from Bord na Mona to the IPCC on Sunday 31st July 2005 at 11am.
Miss Eanna Ni Lamhna, IPCC Patron and Radio Personality of Mooney Goes Wild
will launch the nature centre. The day's events will be:

11am Guided Tour of the Bog of Allen Nature Centre Museum, Library &
Classroom
11.30am Tour of Woodland Garden and Habitats in Progress
12 noon Formal opening of the Bog of Allen Nature Centre by Eanna Ni Lamhna
and Blessing by Fr Jackie O'Connell P. P.
1pm Presentation of Deeds to Lodge Bog and Lullymore West by a
representative of Bord na Mona followed by Guided Tour of the Bog
2pm Slideshow: The Bog of Allen by Caroline Hurley
2.30pm Tour of the Flytraps Carnivorous Plant House with Mr Bryan Pinchen of
The Carnivorous Plant Society.

All welcome. Picnics essential. Tea/Coffee and Biscuits available all day.
