Biggest Ever Save the Bogs Christmas Card and Gift SelectionFor release 31 August 2001 A new Charity card and gift catalogue supporting the Save the Bogs Campaign of the IPCC has just been launched which contains a wonderful range of gift ideas for use in the garden and at home. The conservation of bogs and their wildlife are running themes throughout the catalogue which helps raise funds for the Save the Bogs Campaign. The IPCC has conducted the longest running environmental campaign in Ireland to save Ireland's vanishing raised bogs, and over the past twenty years they have been helped protect some of our most beautiful wild bogs. To ease the burden of Christmas shopping, and for those of us who want to avoid the festive rush, the IPCC have a colourful Save the Bogs Gift catalogue available (free) upon request. Special features of this year's catalogue include a new, larger format Wild Ireland Calendar for 2002, with some stunning photographs of Irish wild lanscapes and the poetry and prose this has inspired in people who visited the areas. In addition the catalogue boasts nine new Christmas Cards depicting bogs and Irish wildlife giving IPCC its largest wildlife Christmas card selection to date. IPCC are very grateful to two Irish artists Mary Golden and Geoff Rhind who have kindly allowed us to reproduce paintings inspired by the bogs and the Irish countryside. Both the calendar and cards are exclusive to IPCC and produced here in Ireland. To obtain a copy of the catalogue and experience shopping from your armchair simply call/fax 01 8722397 or e-mail us at bogs@ipcc.ie and ask for a copy! You can also see and order the cards on our website at http://www.ipcc.ie. Or to see our range of cards and gifts at first hand visit us in person by calling into the Enviro Shop on the first floor at 119 Capel Street. We're open daily from 10am to 5pm - Monday to Friday. Thank you for your support. |
