Biggest Ever Save the Bogs Charity Card,
Gift & Education Resource Catalogue
Now Available

For release 1 September 2003

A new charity card and gift catalogue supporting the Save the Bogs Campaign
has just been launched by the IPCC with more than 150 great gift ideas.

Raising awareness about the conservation of bogs and their wildlife, and
other environmental themes are running themes throughout the catalogue which
helps raise funds for the Save the Bogs Campaign.

Some of the more unusual items in this year's catalogue include an Irish
made tea tray with Robin motif, Just Before Dawn birdsong CD, bog oak
sculpture, 25 different plant, bug, bird and habitat identification charts,
a frog catch game, Christmas carols playing cards, a range of garden bird
products and new recycled paper wildlife stationery sets.

In addition there are six new Christmas Cards depicting bogs, Irish wildlife
and festive winter scenes. IPCC are very grateful to two Irish artists
Pauline Bewick and Fergal Flanagan who have kindly allowed us to reproduce
paintings of theirs inspired by the bogs.

All cards and the 2005 Wild Ireland calendar are exclusive to IPCC and
produced here in Ireland.

In addition there are a wide range of educational resources, packs, videos
and CDs included in the catalogue that will help teachers bring the study of
bogs into the classroom.
