Save the Bogs Christmas Card & Gift Ideas

The IPCC have just launched their new Christmas card and gift catalogue
which contains a wonderful range of green gift ideas for use in the garden
and at home.

The conservation of bogs and their wildlife are running themes throughout
the catalogue which helps raise funds for the Save the Bogs Campaign.

The IPCC has conducted the longest running environmental campaign in Ireland
to save Ireland's vanishing raised bogs, and over the past fifteen years
they have been helped protect some of our most beautiful wild bogs.

To ease the burden, literally, of Christmas shopping and for those of us who
want to avoid the festive crush, the IPCC have a colourful Save the Bogs
Gift catalogue available (free) upon request.

Special features of this year's catalogue are our Wild Ireland Calendar for
2001, and a series of seven new Christmas Cards depicting bogs and Irish
wildlife.

IPCC are also very grateful to two Irish artists Pauline Bewick and Anne
Stahl who have kindly allowed us to reproduce paintings of theirs inspired
by the bogs.

Both the calendar and cards are exclusive to IPCC and produced here in
Ireland.

In the gift range IPCC have some great garden ideas including dibbers,
garden aprons made from unbleached cotton, twine holder with scissors,
garden finials which make a great support for sweetpeas, and peat free
gro-brics.

For those that want to learn about garden birds there is a new garden birds
identification chart, teach yourself garden birdsong tapes and even a cuckoo
whistle for those that want to attract birds!
