JOB VACANCY - Conservation Officer at IPCCFor Release 11th Febraury 2000 The Irish Peatland Conservation Council is seeking a person
to fill a The contract will include, but will not necessarily be limited
to, the * upgrading IPCC's site database of 1,000 bogs and fens in
line with * preparing briefing reports on the current status of Irish
peatlands * handling site enquiries from the general public * responding to planning applications * preparing research papers and articles on bogs for publication
in * liaison on conservation campaigns * and assisting with site surveys The successful applicant will have relevant research experience,
