Heritage Week Workcamp on Fenor Bog, Co Waterford

For release 26 August 2002

IPCC's local community partners at Fenor Bog, Co Waterford - the Moin
Fhionnurach Development Association will be holding a Workcamp at Fenor bog
on Sunday the 1st September 2002. The workcamp aims to build a new section
of visitor boardwalk that will run into the bog. Volunteers are needed to
transport lumber out onto the bog and to help drill and bolt the pieces to
the trackway.

Meet at the Church car park in Fenor Village at 12 noon.

The workcamp will start at 12 noon and run through the afternoon. There is
no fee to attend the workcamp which is part of heritage Week.

Come along and help out if you can. Bring warm clothes and wet gear if its
rainy. And don't forget a packed lunch.

Unfortunately the workcamp is not suitable for young children (under 13
