New Save the Bogs Charity Card and Gift Selection Launched

A new Charity card and gift catalogue supporting the Save the Bogs Campaign
of the IPCC has just been launched which contains a wonderful range of gift
ideas for use in the garden and at home.

The conservation of bogs and their wildlife are running themes throughout
the catalogue which helps raise funds for the Save the Bogs Campaign.

Now in its 20th year the IPCC has conducted the longest running
environmental campaign in Ireland to save Ireland's vanishing raised bogs,
and over the past twenty years they have been helped protect some of our
most beautiful wild bogs.

Special features of this year's catalogue include a new selection of garden
bird postcards, bird identification chart, garden bird information pack,
bird boxes, bird feeders and a CD to allow you to learn the songs of 27
different garden birds.

The Wild Ireland Calendar for 2003, with some stunning photographs of Irish
wild landscapes and the poetry and prose this has inspired in people who
visited the areas is also available.

In addition the catalogue boasts six new Christmas Cards depicting bogs and
Irish wildlife. IPCC are very grateful to Pauline Bewick, Doris Staal,
Carsten Krieger and Frank Doyle who donated the use of their paintings and
photographs for our Christmas card selection, the sale of which helps the
bog conservation campaign.

All the Christmas cards and calendars are exclusive to IPCC and produced
here in Ireland.
