A Day on the Bogs Field
Studies Courses
For release 29 April 2003
This month there is an opportunity for teachers to attend
two bog field
studies courses. The first is on the 10th May in the Botanic
Gardens,
Glasnevin, Dublin and the second is on the 24th May in Glenveagh
National
Park, Co. Donegal. The courses are free to Primary and Secondary
School
teachers and include indoor work and a field trip to study a
local bog. Non
teachers welcome for a fee of E65. IF you wish to book a place
on either

The courses run from 10am to 3.30pm. Please bring waterproof
clothing and
boots, packed lunch and a 1 litre clear plastic bottle for model
making.
