IPCC Bogland Reserve: Sheheree Bog Nature Reserve, Co. Kerry

The surface of Sheheree Bog, Co Kerry dominated by the purple of Ling Heather and yellow flowering Gorse. Purple moor grass, with some bog cotton and Sphagnum mosses make up the remainder of the vegetation. In contrast to other raised bog sites, Sheheree Bog does not have a significant surface pool system.
