Britain
Britain including Scotland, England, Wales
and the Isle of Man has an estimated area of 48,619 km² of
peatland. No single study has summarised the peatland area according
to a single classification however the following peatland types
occur; blanket bogs, nutrient rich fens, nutrient poor fen and
raised bog.
